June 20-July 17

Just a short note, the movie in this story is made up. It's NOT one of Julianna's real movies.
There is one rather disgusting scene in this fanfic. You may not want to read it if you're under the age of 14...People would say it's rated NC-17, but I wrote it and I am 15. And I would have read it had I been 12, so it really depends on what you believe you can handle.

"Hello?"
"Hello Julianna."
"Who is this?"
"Your secret admirer." She laughed slightly.
"No really, who is this?" She asked.
"I can't tell you. That's the point of secret admirers. I'm watching you, Julianna." Her heart began to thud in her chest.
"Who the hell is this?"
"Now, darling, don't get upset. I won't hurt you. You're so beautiful."
"Who is this?" She asked one more time, her voice shaking.
"Your secret admirer." The whisper on the other end of the phone hung up. Julianna slowly replaced the phone into the receiver. How weird, she thought and went about cooking her dinner, trying not to let it worry her. She sighed and brushed her hand through her hair and turned on the radio to block out her thoughts.
ooooooooooo
"What do you want to drink?" Julianna asked George, rising from the couch.
"A beer is good." He said.
"Alright. Hold on." She said and headed to the living room just as the phone rang. "Shit." She muttered and turned back to the couch. She bent in front of the couch and picked the phone up off the coffee table. She rolled her eyes at George as she clicked the phone on.
"Hello?"
"Hello darling."
"Dammit. What do you want?" Julianna asked, walking away from George.
"You. What else? What're you doing lover?" The whisper on the other end giggled.
"I have company." She said, panic bubbling in her throat.
"Oh. Who?" The whisper sounded disappointed.
"Can't you just leave me alone?" She asked furiously.
"You know I can't do that darling." He whispered something provocative into the phone and she nearly gasped in disgust and shock.
"Asshole." She turned the phone off with anger shuddering through her.
"Jules?" George asked, standing up from his seat on the couch. "Who was that?"
"Nobody, George."
"Jules.." He trailed off.
"My secret admirer." She said, looking him in the eye.
"What?" He asked, raising his eyebrows. She sighed and folded her arms over her chest.
"A month or so ago, I got a call from someone who claimed to be my secret admirer. He's called numerous times since."
"And you don't know who it is yet?" George asked.
"No. I'm going to change my phone number." She said.
"Julianna, what has he said?" George asked, taking her shoulders into his hands.
"That he thinks I'm beautiful. That he is watching me. That he wants me. He says...provocative things sometimes." She said. George's face scrunched in disgust.
"Someone you don't know is saying provocative things to you over the phone?"
"Yes." She said. Her anger was shimmering down and she was beginning to tremble a bit.
"Have you told anyone?"
"You."
"And this has been going on for a month? Dammit, Jules, why didn't you tell me sooner? Or the cops?"
"'Cause it's not a big deal." She said.
"Yes it is, Julianna. You're being stalked." He said. She shivered and lowered her head.
"No, I'm not. It's just a couple of prank calls."
"A month's worth. I'm calling the cops." He said.
"George." She said wearily.
"Do you have a better idea? I will not be having my best friend hurt by some wacko!" He exclaimed and pulled her into his arms. She hooked her chin on his shoulder, taking comfort from his strong embrace. He was safe, she thought.
"Okay. You can call the cops." She said. He smiled and kissed her forehead.
"Good. We'll find out who is doing this, Jules."
ooo
"Well, we've filed my report with the police, who said they would begin to look in to it. I changed my number and made sure that only certain people know it. And you're being my personal body guard for who knows how long. I feel safe!" Julianna said. George chuckled.
"Fine. Get your ass into bed then."
"You're not my father." She said.
"I am now that I'm living here for the time being." George said.
"Kiss my ass, George." She said as he pushed her up the stairs.
"Now, is that the way to talk to your father?" He asked sternly. She laughed and wrestled with him as he pushed her into her room. "Oh..Sweetheart?" George asked. Julianna raised her eyebrow and smirked at him.
"Yes?"
"Bend over." He said sweetly and laughed as she chased him out of her room.
ooooooooooo
"George, it's been over a week since he's called. There's no use for you to stay here anymore." Julianna and George were sitting on the couch in her living room and she was trying to convince him that she didn't need a babysitter anymore, even though she didn't really want him to go.
"You got your number changed. It'll take a little while for him to get your new number." George said. Julianna rolled her eyes as the phone rang.
"Watch. I bet you ten bucks this won't be him." She said and reached over, picking up the phone. "Hello?" She asked.
"You can't hide for long." Julianna's face paled immediately and her knuckles turned white as she gripped to the phone.
"What do you want from me?" She whispered.
"I won't hurt you. But if you don't stop trying to get rid of me, I'll have to teach you a lesson."
"Leave me alone." Julianna said and hung up the phone, knowing she should have stayed on longer, because the police had the phone tapped and could have learned the location. But she couldn't stay on. George grabbed the phone from her hands and dialed a number quickly.
"Anything?" He asked into the phone. "Dammit." He muttered and hung up. "They didn't get a track." George said, watching her. Her head was bowed and her eyes were squeezed shut.
"My fault." She murmured. George sighed.
"C'mere." He said and hooked an arm around her waist. She scooted to him and he lifted her easily onto his lap. She buried her face in his neck and he hugged her tightly to him, trying to sooth. He wished he could do more to help her, but he wasn't sure what the boundaries were. They were best friends but sometimes he couldn't distinguish friendship from his other feelings for her. Therefore, he wasn't sure where the line was to stop. So instead he did nothing, just let her show what she needed.
Julianna wasn't sure if she could show him what she needed. Or wanted. She wanted to be held. Really held. She needed to feel wanted, alive. She didn't want to be scared. She wanted to forget. But she didn't know what George was willing to give.

She was running in the darkness, stumbling through a dark tunnel. She didn't know where she was or how to get out. But she could hear the breathing, whispers, and excited giggles of her pursuer getting closer and closer. She was crying, sobbing, trying to suck air into her lungs. She felt a hand close over her arm and she let out a muffled scream.
"Jules...C'mon, Jules, it's just me. Wake up. Baby, wake up." George ran a hand along her face, pushing her hair out of the way as she blinked her eyes open, staring up at him. "It's George, Jules. It's okay. I'm here now. You're okay." George gathered her into his arms and she clung to him, trembling and crying in his arms. "You're alright now, Jules. Shh." He murmured, running his hands over her back.
She finally pulled away and her hair fell in front of her face as she avoided his gaze. He ran his palm over her cheek and tilted her head up to face him.
"I'm okay." She murmured, ashamed.
"Want to tell me about it?" He asked. She shook her head and remained silent for a few moments.
"It was so dark. I...couldn't see anything. But I could hear him and I was running. And running. I couldn't breath. I could hear him whispering and giggling." She shuddered. "I couldn't see where I was going and he kept getting closer. I couldn't get away."
"It was just a dream, Jules. Just a bad dream." He murmured, drawing her against him again. She settled against him and let out a small sigh. She could feel every plane of his chest as she leaned against him, realizing he didn't have a shirt on. It always amazed her at how simply she fit against him, like she belonged there. He was stroking gently, believing it to be soothing, but he was lighting fires inside of her, everywhere his hands touched.
"George." She murmured. He continued touching.
"Mm?" She turned her nose into his neck and breathed in deeply. She tilted her head up further and touched a hand to his face, tilting his face towards hers.
Their lips met warmly, shocking both of them with the sweet connection. They stayed exactly where they were for what seemed like minutes, but was only moments before she shifted upward and unconsciously deepened the kiss, yielding her mouth to his in invitation. She let out a soft moan that cut straight to his groin. He shifted her farther onto his lap and wrapped his arms around her, so that she was fitted against him completely.
Gently he lay her back on the bed, her curls sprawled out on the pillow behind her. She lifted her arms and wrapped them around his neck, drawing him back to her with a soft sigh, bodies melting together in the soft moonlight.

Later they lay together in a spoon-like fashion, sated from sex. Her bottom was nestled against his midsection and his arm was draped under her head. His other arm was across her midsection, his hand was filled with her breast where he occasionally rubbed his thumb over her nipple.
"George?" She turned a bit to look up at him.
"Yeah?" He asked. She smiled slightly.
"Thank you." She murmured. He smiled and kissed her gently.
"You're welcome." He chuckled. "Anytime." She laughed softly and turned back, quickly falling asleep. He laid and watched her sleep, hoping her dreams were of him instead of haunted by a man she didn't know but was deathly scared of.
ooooooooooo
"George, you really don't have to do this. There are people there, I'm not going to be alone." He sighed and took her shoulders into his hands.
"Jules, I know. You've got those body guards that I insisted on." Julianna rolled her eyes. "I'm not going so I can be extra protection, that's a plus, but that's not why I'm going. I'm going because I want to check out the people around you, see how people act around you. Maybe somebody will act suspicious."
"How do you even know it's someone I work with, or around?"
"I don't." He said. She sighed.
"This is like searching for a needle in a haystack and you're in the wrong haystack." Julianna said. He chuckled and drew her into his arms.
"Maybe, but I just want you to be safe. And you won't be until we catch this creep." Julianna sighed and rested her cheek against his.
"Okay. I won't argue anymore. But I don't have to like it."
"I know you don't. No one said I like it either. I don't like that there's a reason I feel the need to protect you." Julianna let her eyes close and she rested against him for just a moment, glad that he wanted to protect her. Not because she was afraid but because that meant he cared for her. Finally.

George stayed by her side as she went to her trailer and got into the appropriate outfit for the particular scene they were going to film. He stayed with her throughout make-up and hair, watching everyone, even dazzling some of the new staff that had never met him before.
"He seems kind of odd." George murmured into Julianna's ear as they walked to the set. Julianna looked at the scrawny man carrying a clipboard.
"I think he's just odd. He looks nervous, not scary." Julianna said. George shrugged.
"Maybe he's nervous for a reason."
"He's always that way. A nervous man such as he wouldn't have the guts to call me."
"You don't know what he could change into in the privacy of his own home."
"We don't know that he calls from home." Julianna pointed out. George laughed and threw an arm over her shoulder.
"You're right, we don't know. But my guess is as good as yours, eh?" She chuckled and wrapped her arm through his waist and continued walking on.
What they didn't realize was someone was watching them, anger flaring rapidly, planning revenge.
ooo
"So, who are the suspects?" Julianna asked that night on the way home from work. George smiled and glanced at her slightly.
"Everybody so far." Julianna groaned in exasperation.
"So you bothered me all day and you have no suspects?" She teased. He chuckled.
"Well, I certainly can name a few strange characters, but none that top my list as being suspicious. At least for this particular...thing...we are talking about." Julianna smiled and leaned back in her seat.
"Thing?"
"For lack of a better word." He said. She chuckled and closed her eyes, falling into a silence. He watched her for a few moments. "Tired?" He murmured.
"Exhausted. Feels like ER again." She said. He smiled.
"14 hour days, short lunch breaks." He said. She groaned.
"Don't remind me." Julianna replied. He chuckled.
ooo
Julianna slumped against George as they got out of the car.
"Carry me." She muttered. He chuckled and scooped her up into his arms. She squealed.
"I was kidding, George!"
"Well, I forgot to take a joke." He laughed and swung her legs up so that his arm was hooked under her knees and his other was around her neck. She sighed and tried her best to be a dead weight in his arms, giggling the whole time. "I think I'll just drop you right here." George said, stepping into the kitchen and pretending he was going to let her go. She scrambled until she had her arms locked firmly around his neck.
"Try me." She said. He laughed and made his way through the kitchen and into the hallway before climbing the steps. She snuggled against him now, burying her face in the crook of his shoulder and closing her eyes. He smiled down at her as he made his way into her bedroom. He laid her on the bed and straightened as she opened her eyes to peer up at him.
"Are you going somewhere?" She asked. He chuckled softly.
"I don't know, am I?" She smiled and tugged on his hand. He leaned over her and she hooked an arm around his waist and pulled him down on the bed, smooshing herself underneath him. He laughed and let his weight rest all on her.
"Ugh. George, I can't breath." She muttered but wrapped her arms firmly around his neck. He smiled and rolled off to the side but kept her cradled against him.
"We don't have our pj's on." He murmured.
"Who needs pj's?" She asked and drew back from him so she could take her shirt off. He chuckled but shifted so that her lips were against his and her breasts were pressed softly against his chest. She curled her arms around his neck gently, but strongly, making sure he was staying right there.

For the next few days, Julianna and George spent much of their time in bed. They couldn't seem to get enough of each other, always hungry for each other. Julianna knew she was slowly falling in love with him and that it couldn't be stopped. She could only hope his feelings extended past lust and friendship.
ooooooooooo
Julianna hung up the phone from her latest conversation with her secret admirer and looked at George. He picked up the phone and dialed a number to the police who had the phone tapped.
"Did you get anything this time?" George asked, pulling Julianna onto his lap and wrapping his arm around her waist. "Uh-huh." George sighed. "Alright." He hung up the phone.
"Anything?" Julianna asked. He nodded.
"Pay phone. They sent out a cop car to the location, but they have little faith that they will find him there." She nodded and sighed. George cradled her head on his shoulder and leaned back against the couch.
"It seems like something's going to happen.." Julianna trailed off.
"Why?" George asked. She shrugged.
"He seems...impatient. Maybe..more, more excited. Like he's ready to do something.." Julianna shivered. George, who had listened in on the conversation on another phone shook his head. He too had felt it, but he didn't want her to worry about it.
"No, I don't think he'll try anything." George's heart clenched with the very thought that the man would lay his hands on his precious Julianna. George could not let that happen. "Don't worry about it, darling. I'm sure it'll be perfectly fine." Julianna curled her fingers into George's shirt.
"I hope you're right." She said and buried her face to his throat, breathing deeply.
ooooooooooo
For the next few days, George tried to go to work with her as much as possible. He had put his own work off as much as he could so he could be with her more, he wanted her to be safe.
Little did George know that every day he showed up to work with Julianna, he also fueled someone else's anger. Someone who was watching very closely. He could see the intimacy between Julianna and George and he didn't like it, not one bit.
He would just have to hurry his plans for her.
ooooooooooo
Julianna answered the buzzing noise coming from the guards at the gate. She pressed the button on the intercom.
"Yes?"
"There's a Jeremy Freestone here to see you, says he works with you. Says he wants you to help him practice a part." Julianna sighed. The men knew Jeremy, they saw him every day when she was at work.
"Open the gates." Julianna said. Minutes later she heard a knock on her door. She opened the door with a smile for Jeremy, her co-star in the movie.
"Hey." He said, coming into the house. She smiled.
"Hey Jer. What's up?" Julianna asked, shutting the door behind him.
"I'm having trouble with part of the script and I thought we could practice together, I need to have someone act opposite of me so I can get a better feel for it."
"Which scene?"
"The scene at the train station where you're going on that trip.." Jeremy trailed off.
"Oh, right, where I leave to go to Boston." Julianna said.
"Right, that one. I'm just not getting it right.." Jeremy said. Julianna nodded.
"I understand, I have that problem sometimes." She said and walked into the living room. She picked up her script that she had sitting on the coffee table from where she had been practicing her lines with George the night before. She flipped through it and found the correct page.
"Ah, here we go. Alright, where do you want to start at?" Julianna asked.
"Uh, line 27.." Jeremy said.
"Okay." Julianna cleared her throat.
"Malcolm, it's for work. You know I have to go." Julianna said, taking the role of Annie, her character in the movie.
"But Ann, I'll never see you."
"We can visit, we agreed we would." Jeremy sighed.
"Don't go, Annie, please don't go." Julianna sighed.
"Malcolm.."
"I love you." Jeremy said. Julianna stopped and wrinkled her nose.
"That's not what the script says." Jeremy looked up at her, surprise in his eyes.
"That's what mine says." Jeremy said and Julianna leaned over to check out his script. As she did Jeremy plunged a syringe into her arm. Julianna looked at him in surprise.
"Ow..Jeremy, what was that?" She asked, already feeling sluggish. He smiled grimly.
"Sorry Jules, I had to do it." Fear and shock flashed in Julianna's eyes. She lifted a heavy arm to place her hand on her forehead.
"Jeremy, don't do this..." She trailed off as her eyes rolled back in her head. Before she could fall, Jeremy caught her against him and smiled.
"Sorry." He murmured and smelled her hair before he dragged her upstairs.
ooo
When Julianna came around, she moaned and rolled her head to the side. She tried to fight the fog in her brain and wondered where she was. She tried to move her hand but when it stayed where it was, she looked up and saw with some confusion that her arms were tied to the bed posts. She looked down and saw with shock that she was naked and her ankles were also bound to the bed.
"What the..?" She managed to croak out. Jeremy suddenly appeared.
"Jules..I see you're awake." He said and trailed a finger up her calf. Some more fog cleared and she tried to tug on the restraints.
"Jeremy, why are you doing this?" She asked.
"Because I love you." He said and trailed a hand over her stomach. She quivered in fear.
"No, you don't." Hurt flashed in his eyes and he pinched her nipple, for his enjoyment and to punish her for that comment.
"Yes, I do." He began to pace around the bed.
"Jeremy.."
"Shut up!" He exclaimed and she clamped her mouth shut. Oh, George, please save me, she thought, wishing he hadn't had to work that afternoon. "You don't love me because I'm not good enough for you. I'm not as famous as George." He made a face. "If you would have gotten to know me, you would have loved me. But you just treated me as your friendly colleague."
"Jeremy, I'm sorry. I didn't know how you felt."
"Would it matter? You're too busy spreading your whore legs for Clooney. I won't tolerate that."
"Jere.." He backhanded her across the face and she whimpered.
"I'll have to show you who is in charge, here." Jeremy turned his back to her and she struggled with the restraints. "Now, we can't have you screaming and alerting your incredibly stupid body men." He slapped duck tape onto her mouth and a tear escaped her eye. He wiped it away and smiled.
"Don't worry, Julianna, you'll enjoy it, I promise." Julianna groaned and struggled with the restraints. He smiled. "It's really no use, they're very secure, Julianna." He lay a hand on her thigh. "Calm down." Then he began to undress. Julianna sobbed as more tears began to fall from her eyes and onto the pillow below her head. She moaned and struggled to get the tape off her lips with her tongue, but it was no use, it was stuck. Her eyes wild, she looked at Jeremy and saw he was fully naked, his manhood jutting proudly from his body. Jeremy saw her looking at it and he smiled and gave it one stroke. She closed her eyes and whimpered, pulling on the restraints.
He climbed onto the bed.
Downstairs, George was coming into the house, forewarned that Jeremy Freestone, a co-star of Julianna's was in the house. He looked around the living room and kitchen and saw no one. Brow puckered, he made his way upstairs.
Julianna screamed against the tape as Jeremy thrust himself inside of her. She began to sob, her shoulders and chest shaking in pain. He was ripping her in half.
George heard the muffled scream and he bound up the stairs and ran straight into Julianna's bedroom. Jeremy was on his third thrust when George grabbed him right off of Julianna. Julianna felt the weight lift off, just like that, and she opened her eyes to see George pounding his fist into Jeremy's face. She continued crying, but in relief now, before she shut her eyes again.
When Jeremy slipped unconscious, George wanted to continue beating him until he fucking killed him, but he knew Julianna needed him. He turned back to her and felt like puking. She was spread eagle on the bed and sobbing.
Quickly, he untied her left foot and she curled her leg up to her other one, turning on her side. He released her right foot and she hurriedly curled it against her other leg. George untied each of her hands as fast as he could before he pulled her into his arms.
"Oh, baby, oh Jules. I am so sorry." He gently pried the tape off her mouth.
"George..." She managed to whisper before he gathered her into his arms and rocked, shushing her. He saw the small spot of blood on the bed and felt like getting up and beating the life out of Jeremy. But Julianna burrowed herself against him and clung for dear life. George held her in his arms and pulled the comforter up and slowly wrapped Julianna into it.
"Shh, baby, I'm here now. You're okay." He said and reached over, picking the phone up from the cradle on the bed stand. He quickly dialed the cell phone of one of the body guards and told them in a stern, clipped voice to get the hell up here and call the cops. They quickly took a hint.
Within a minute, one of the body guards was in the room, securing Jeremy with handcuffs. The guard told George that his partner was waiting outside for the cops, whom he had called.
Julianna trembled in George's arms and he tightened his hold on her, stroking her hair gently as he murmured soft words to her, lulling her. The rage inside George threatened to spill over, but he held Julianna in his arms as gently as he would a newborn baby.
Julianna shivered. Her entire body ached where Jeremy's body had violated her own. Julianna whimpered as she thought over what would have happened had George not showed up. As she whimpered, she unconsciously shifted further into George's, seeming to sink right into him. George kissed her brow and rubbed a gentle hand over her hair as she breathed the smell of him in.
He was her pillar, her rock. She could hold on to him and feel safe and protected. No one had ever made her feel that way before, she knew.
"George?" She murmured.
"Yeah, sweetheart?" He asked, bending his face toward hers. She lifted her head a bit and met his gaze with her own.
"I love you." She whispered just as the other body guard walked into the room with two police officers following him. George's heart thudded at Julianna's revelation but he knew now wasn't the time to focus on her love for him. They could deal with it later.
"So, I see we now know who the caller is." The male of the cops said to the other cop. She nodded.
"I'll take care of Mr. Freestone." The woman officer replied. The first officer that spoke walked over to the bed and smiled softly down at Julianna. He had dealt with rape victims many times in his work.
"Hello Julianna. Do you remember me? I'm Lieutenant Sparks." Julianna shifted but didn't leave George's grasp.
"I remember." She smiled weakly. He nodded.
"Do you think you can talk about what happened?" He asked. Julianna looked up at George and saw his small smile of support.
"May I get dressed first?" She asked as she turned back to Lieutenant Sparks. He smiled and nodded.
"Sure, go right on ahead." He said and turned away from her. Julianna looked up at George and he smiled.
"Sit here. I'll get you some clothes and take you to the bathroom." George said. She nodded and loosened her grasp on him, although she would rather not let go of him. She kept her eyes on George as he dug her in drawers for some old jeans and her under things. Then he made his way to the closet and got a navy hooded sweatshirt for her. He walked into the bathroom and placed her clothes on the counter before he made his way back to the bed.
Julianna stood, holding onto the blanket as she wobbled a bit on her feet. The after-effects from the drug Jeremy had given her hadn't quite worn off. George wrapped an arm around her waist and held the blanket together so the rest of the people in the room wouldn't get a glimpse of anything. As George shut the bathroom door behind them, Julianna sighed.
"George?" She murmured.
"Yes?" He asked. She looked at him and tears filled her eyes.
"I need help. I can't do it.." She said as one lone tear slid down her cheek. He smiled and wiped it with his thumb.
"Alright." He murmured and leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to her brow. George helped her into her clothes, keeping a steady hand on her at all times so she wouldn't lose her balance. Before they left the room, George gathered her into his arms and held tightly for just a moment. He needed that short moment to reassure himself that she was okay.
Finally they left the bathroom and walked into the room. The body guards, the woman officer, and Jeremy were no longer in the room. Lieutenant Sparks said they should go downstairs where it might be more comfortable. George had agreed and helped a sore Julianna down the stairs and into the living room, while she had nervously looked around, as if expecting Jeremy to jump out of the shadows and drag her away.
George sat on the couch with Julianna on his side and tucked a supportive arm around her waist. He took her hands into his free hand, warming their icy coldness. She turned to him and breathed him in for a moment, as if breathing in strength from him to her.
Then she turned back to Lieutenant Sparks who was sitting across from them on a brown leather chair. He smiled warmly at her.
"I want you to tell me everything you remember and that you feel you can tell me. If you need to stop and take a break, you just let me or George know, okay?" Lieutenant Sparks asked. She nodded and felt George's strong arm around her waist squeeze her reassuringly.
"I answered the buzzer that meant that someone was here. Because of the recent calls that I've been getting I had guards who buzzed me whenever someone was there, to ask my approval of letting the guest inside." Julianna paused. "They told me it was Jeremy, my co-star in a movie we are doing....His excuse was that he wanted to practice the script. Of course, because I trusted him, I let him into the house and didn't think twice about it." She shuddered and George kissed her forehead gently.
"When he got in, he went along with his story about practicing. We read the first few lines of a scene we were supposed to do together, but at one point he said something that was not in the script."
"What did he say?" Lieutenant Sparks asked in a gentle voice.
"He said 'I love you'. But that wasn't in the script because our characters hadn't established their love for one another yet. So as I leaned over to look at his script, he put a needle in my arm and put something into me." Julianna sighed and shook her head. Her gaze dropped to study Lieutenant Sparks shoes, but she wasn't seeing his shoes, she was replaying the scene in her mind. "I remember being really tired all of a sudden....I felt heavy, like my arms were lead. I realized who he was and what he was going to do just before I slipped under. I must have passed out because the next thing I remember is waking up, tied to the bed and...and naked." Julianna stopped and swallowed. She closed her eyes briefly and spoke once she opened them again.
"Jeremy was there and he kept saying he loved me but that I didn't love him back. He said..." She looked at George. "He said I was fucking George and thought George was better than he was." George's anger rose. "Then he....he put duct tape over my mouth so I couldn't scream. I began to cry because I knew what he was going to do and I couldn't stop it." Her breath hitched.
"He told me...that I would enjoy it. And he got on top of me." Julianna let out a small sob and turned her face into George's shoulder.
"Alright, that's enough for now.." Lieutenant Sparks said but Julianna lifted her head and shook it.
"No..I..Then he was..." She looked away, somewhat ashamed. "He was inside of me...And it hurt so bad, I..Then the next thing I knew, he was gone. I opened my eyes and saw George. I knew I was going to be okay." George laced his fingers with hers and rubbed his lips over her hair. "Then Jeremy was...on the floor and George untied me. And he called the guards." Julianna looked up and met Lieutenant Sparks' gaze. Lieutenant Sparks smiled gently.
"That was very good, Julianna. Very detailed. Maybe you should have became a cop." He said and lightened the mood a bit.
"Do I have to go anywhere?" Julianna asked him now and clutched George's hand in hers.
"No, not now. You can stay here as long as George stays with you." George nodded solemnly. "Alright. We'll be in touch because there will have to be a hearing and depending on what Mr. Freestone wants, maybe a trial." Julianna nodded as a tear slid down her cheek. "The only place you should go is the hospital, if you feel the need to." Julianna shook her head.
"No, please." She looked at George. "I don't need to go." She said. He smiled and nodded.
"Okay, it's okay." He murmured. He would have released her and stood to shake hands with Lieutenant Sparks but he could feel the tension in her body and didn't want to let go. Lieutenant Sparks nodded at them.
"If she needs anything, you can give me a call." Lieutenant Sparks told George.
"Thank you, Lieutenant." George said. Lieutenant Sparks nodded.
"Sure. We'll be in touch." He nodded at Julianna before he exited the house. George turned to Julianna and took her face into his hands.
"Are you sure you don't need to go to the hospital?" George asked. She nodded, her eyes wide.
"Yes. He didn't hurt me too much." Julianna said. George thought of the blood he had seen on the bed. Julianna swallowed and met George's gaze. "And I'm on the pill, so there's nothing they can do about that." George's heart clenched and he gathered Julianna into his arms.
"I should have killed the bastard." He said. Julianna held tight.
"No. Or you would have stooped to his level. Besides, you don't know that you didn't.." Julianna said and George nodded as he realized Jeremy would have been taken to the hospital.
"Alright." George brushed a hand through her curls. "Let's not think about this. I should take you upstairs and get you in bed." Julianna shivered.
"Your bed, okay?" She asked. He nodded.
"Alright. We'll go to the guestroom." George said. George stood and bent over her. He picked her up and cradled her in his arms. He didn't want her to use any energy that she didn't have to. Julianna rested against George, her head on his shoulder and her eyes closed.
When they got to the room, he sat her on the bed and went to her room to get her some pajamas. Then he undressed and redressed her before changing into his own night clothes. He helped her under the covers and slid under them himself. He cradled her in his arms, her head snuggled against his chest.
"George?"
"Yes?"
"Thank you." She murmured. He smiled slightly and bent, pressing his lips to hers gently. Then, using a finger under her chin, he tilted her head to his.
"I love you, too." He whispered. A smile bloomed slowly over her face and she couldn't help but let a giggle escape.
"Oh, George." She sighed and kissed him again. Then she opened her eyes and gazed at him. "I wish I could make love to you now." She said. He smiled softly and drew her closer.
"This is just fine." He murmured and ran his lips over her hairline. "Now sleep, darling."
"I love you." She whispered before she drifted slowly off to sleep. George held her close more for himself than her. He needed to know she was safe in his arms and unharmed. He hated to think what would have happened had he arrived too late. Would he have killed her? George shuddered at the thought.

The next morning, George was laying in bed with Julianna when the phone rang. He shifted on the bed, keeping her cradled in his arms and picked up the phone.
"Hello?" He asked.
"George Clooney?" The woman asked.
"Yes, this is he."
"I'm Officer Feeney, Lieutenant Sparks aide."
"Yes." George nodded.
"Lieutenant Sparks would have called you himself, but he's tied up at the station and asked me to call you. Last night Jeremy Freestone was sent to the hospital but he was released almost immediately and put in a jail cell. An hour ago, we found Mr. Freestone dead in his cell."
"What?!" George exclaimed, straightening. Julianna blinked her eyes into focus and stared at George.
"He hung himself with the sheets on his bed."
"Oh, hell." George muttered.
"Exactly." The officer said. George shook his head.
"Alright, so what now?" George asked.
"There will not be a hearing because of this. Lieutenant Sparks found a detailed diary from Mr. Freestone, stating his exact plans and feelings towards Ms. Margulies, so basically the investigation is closed. Lieutenant Sparks said he would contact Mr. Freestone's agents and let them know. Ms. Margulies will not be needed for anything else. If she is, Lieutenant Sparks said he would contact her." Officer Feeney said. George nodded.
"Uh, thank you. Tell the lieutenant that we appreciate his help. I'll get in contact with him if we need anything else." George said.
"I'll let him know. Goodbye." George hung the phone up and turned to Julianna.
"What?" She said, her voice slightly gruff with sleep.
"He's dead."
"What? Jeremy?" She asked. George nodded.
"Yeah. He hung himself last night in jail with the sheets from his bed." Julianna shuddered.
"I guess that means no hearing, then?" She asked. George gathered her close, wrapping her up in his arms and the blankets.
"No hearing. You won't be needed for anything else. If you need something you can call Lieutenant Sparks." George said and pulled the covers up and over them, tucking them in. Julianna buried her face into his chest. "You okay?" George murmured, stroking his hand over her. She nodded.
"As long as you stay." She replied. He smiled.
"Count on it." George grinned and tilted her face toward his. "Forever. I intend to marry you." George said. Her mouth dropped open.
"What?" She asked. He chuckled and kissed her open mouth slightly.
"God, I love you." He laughed. "I'll convince you eventually." George said.
"Yes." Julianna said and looked up at him. He laughed.
"Yes, I'll convince you?"
"Yes, you have convinced me." She replied. He smiled and held her close.
"Good. How soon?" He asked. She laughed and wrapped her arms around his waist.
"Soon." She murmured and lifted her mouth to his.
