Carol lay in her bed, trying to sleep, and thinking about all of the men in her life. Everybody always left her. Her father died. Tag left her at the altar. Shep went crazy. And Doug… well, Doug just wasn’t hers anymore. She wondered what was wrong with her, why she was the woman men always left. Unfortunately, she only wanted two of them back: her father and Doug. Her father was never coming back, and in her heart she thought it might be best if Doug never came back. But she couldn’t help but love him so much it hurt.
