Carol held her newborn twins in her arms, all swallowed up in their fuzzy pink blankets. Carol stared down at them, in complete awe of her love for them. Already she loved them so much and knew she would die for them. She had never loved anything, or anyone, so easily.
As she stared down at them, drinking in their features, she knew she was going to have to fight like hell to survive this alone. Raising these two little girls was going to be the hardest thing she had ever done… and saying that meant a lot. Carol thought about Doug, and wondered if her heart would hurt every time she looked down at their, at her beautiful children.
