Julianna is standing at the sink in the kitchen of her house. She is staring out the window, into the water of her pool.

In front of her she has the sink filled up with soapy water and some dishes inside but her hands are resting on the edge of the sink.

A single tear rolls down her cheek. We hear some noise in the background, as George comes home from work and she quickly

wipes the tear away and sticks her hands into the water. She blinks her eyes and we see George coming through the house, home from work. He sees her and he smiles. He comes up behind her and wraps his arms around her waist.

"How's my girl?" George asks quietly as he sets his chin onto her shoulder. She smiles fakely. He doesn't notice.

"I'm fine." Julianna says. George just smiles.

"Well, I am going to go take a shower. I'll be down in a few minutes. Unless you want some help with those." George says.

"No, I got it." Julianna says coolly.

"I can help you." George says and picks up a dish towel. Julianna sighs.

"I'm sorry George. It's okay really. I've got it. Go get a shower." Julianna says and smiles weakly at him. He nods and

turns towards the stairs, shaking his head slightly as he goes. She sighs. You have to tell him sometime Julianna. He'll figure it

out soon enough. She finishes up the dishes and sits on the couch, watching TV.

Later they are getting ready for bed and George crawls into bed and Julianna grabs her nightgown and goes into the bathroom to change. He looks at the door puzzled as she normally would have changed in front of him. He just shakes it off, thinking she had something else left to do and he waits for her. A few minutes later she comes out and she crawls into bed, turning out the lamp. He goes to wrap his arms around her and she lets him, although when he starts to kiss her neck she pulls away.

"George, I don't want to. Not tonight." Julianna says. George pulls away from her and gives her a confused look but moves to his side of the bed. She turns her back towards him and he faces her, staring at her back as a million thoughts run through his head as he tries to figure out what he has done wrong. He cannot think of anything.

On the ride to work the next day she doesn't speak to him and when they get to work she avoids him as much as possible

but he doesn't realize she is doing it, only notices he hasn't seen her much. On the way home he is really getting worried.

"Julianna, are you okay?" George asks.

"Yeah why?" Julianna asked, never turning her attention towards him and keeps staring out the window.

"You've not been talking to me at all, I barely saw you all day, last night you turned me down, and you've snapped at me more then once. And now you won't even look at me when we talk." George says. She turns towards him.

"I'm sorry. There's nothing wrong, I've just been tired." Julianna says and then turns back to the window and remains silent. He sighs quietly and focus's his attention on the road.

"Tony, can we talk?" George asks.

"Sure, what about?" Tony asks as George walks into his trailer with Tony behind him.

"Julianna." George says.

"What about her? You know more about her than I do." Tony says.

"No, that's not what I meant. Okay, let me re-phrase this. Have you ever had a problem with your wife where.." George starts but Tony cuts him off.

"Uh oh. Trouble in paradise?" Tony asks chuckling. George shoots him a serious look and Tony shutsup.

"Where she doesn't talk to you much, snaps at you when she does, turns you down for sex, and won't look at you when

you talk?" George asks.

"One week a month." Tony jokes.

"Tony, I'm serious." George says looking at him desperately.

"I'm sorry George." Tony says.

"It's just, your married and your a guy so I need your help." George says.

"Well, I think you need to get her to talk. Me and my wife have never had problems with that although she has been upset

with me for reasons I haven't known, only they don't last long. How long has this lasted?" Tony asks.

"When I got home from work the day before yesterday she snapped at me and then it all went down hill from there."

George says.

"Well, I've not had a problem that lasted that long before but...if you think hard and you still cannot think of anything you

may have done wrong, ask her. If she still won't talk wait it out. Either she'll talk eventually or it'll pass and everything will be fine.

Until then, I don't really know what to tell ya." Tony says and pats George on the back.

"Thanks Tony." George says. Tony nods and walks out of the trailer knowing George's needs some thinking time.

This problem of George's goes on for about a week after many times of trying to persuade her to talk. George walks into

their bedroom holding a blanket. He grabs his pillow and she looks at him from behind her magazine, from her side of the bed.

"Where are you going?" Julianna asks, bringing the magazine down to her lap.

"Downstairs. I'm sleeping on the couch." George says and leaves the room. She jumps up, throwing her magazine onto the bed and follows him down the stairs.

"Why?" Julianna asks.

"You won't talk to me about what's going on and every night I have trouble sleeping because their is so much tension in the room, even when your asleep and I need rest for work and I don't want to sleep with you if your pissed at me for reasons unknown

to me!" George says. Julianna sighs and rubs her eyes. She looks back up at George with a pained expression on her face.

"I'm sorry George, and I'm not pissed. I just have something going on with me right now that I need to work out." Julianna says, choosing her words carefully.

"Like what? I thought we could tell each other everything. I want to know what's going on with you Jules." George says softly, looking at her.

"It's just something.." Julianna's voice trails off.

"See! That's EXACTLY what I mean! You cannot tell me what it is and I don't like to have someone ignore me for something I don't even know about so I can't even try and help or fix it." George says, raising his voice slightly.

"You CAN'T fix it, don't you understand?" Julianna says.

"No, I DON'T understand if you won't tell me what it is! How can you expect me to understand?" George says, raising the volume of his voice even higher.

"I'm PREGNANT! Okay?" Julianna shouts and runs from the room, up the stairs. She runs into their room. She shuts the door and flings herself onto the bed and sobs. He is standing in the living room, staring at the stairs with his mouth dropped wide

open. He stands there for a few shocked minutes until a slow smile spreads across his face as the reality sets in. He bounds up the

steps and through the door of their room.

"That's all? Your pregnant?" George asks. She turns to him her face wet with tears.

"What do you mean that's all? I'm pregnant George. Do I need to spell that out for you. I'm having a baby. Our baby.

Something I know you don't want." Julianna says and turns away from him.

"How do you know that's not what I want?" George asks, shocked.

"Because when you were going out with Celine, you didn't want kids. Why would that all change now?" Julianna asks. George sits beside her on the bed.

"Well for one thing, I didn't ever want to father Celine's kids. I never loved her. Sure, I said I did but I only said it after her,

and I never said it like I say it to you. My priorities have changed Julianna. I just said I didn't want to have kids because I never

thought in my whole life I would love someone enough to want to have babies with them. But you...that's a whole different story." George says and he strokes her cheek lightly with his hand.

"I don't understand." Julianna says.

"I love you so much Julianna. And I love you so much that I want to have children with you. I want to see you carrying

my baby. I want to spend my whole life with you and any of our children. I want this." George says and he places a hand on her stomach. She smiles.

"You mean it?" Julianna asks.

"I wouldn't have said all that if I didn't mean it." George says. She throws herself into his arms and he laughs. She hugs him tightly and smiles through her happy tears. He gently pulls her away and rests his hands on her face. "How far are we?" George asks.

"5 weeks." Julianna says. His mouth drops open. "I missed my period and I completely forgot about it. So a week after it

was supposed to happen I went to the doctor's. She told me I was 4 weeks and so now I would be 5 weeks, since I went exactly

a week ago." Julianna says. He smiles. He gently lays her down on the bed and he scoots down and lays on his stomach. He

pushes her shirt up and stops it, just under her bra. He smiles up at her then kisses her tummy lightly. She giggles.

"Hey baby. I'm your daddy. I just wanted to tell you that even though I haven't been around all week its your mommy's fault. Not mine." He says and looks up at Julianna and grins wickedly. She smacks his shoulder softly. "You know, your mommy and I have really busy jobs, so even though you may think sometimes that we don't love you, that's not it. We love you very much little one." He kisses her tummy again. "Now while you hurry up and grow, I'm going to work on seducing your mom." He smiles and looks up at Julianna who smiles back at him. He pulls her shirt down and he crawls up to her, smiling from above her.

"I'm sorry about this past week." Julianna says and gives him a sad smile. He smiles and kisses her.

"Problem solved." He said and then kisses her again. He rolls over and pulls her on top of him, still kissing her as they make love with a new found passion.

"Here's your toast and scrambled eggs, Clooney style." George says, laying down a plate on the kitchen table as she comes downstairs. She giggles.

"Clooney style? That's a new one." Julianna said. She looked at her plate and her stomach growled.

"Sounds to me like you appreciate it!" George says and chuckles.

"It does look wonderful. Thanks George." Julianna said and kissed his cheek quickly as she sat down. She bit into a piece

of toast and he made a funny face at her, causing her to giggle. He leans over and kisses her lips flicking his tongue to the corner

of her mouth to get a crumb. She smiles and settles back into her seat. They made small talk as she munched on a piece of toast, then ate her eggs. She turned her chair towards his and put her legs up on top of his. She leans back in her chair and bites into another piece of toast.

"George, today I want to go to all the producers and writers and talk to them about the pregnancy." Jules says.

"To see if they will write it into the show?" George asks.

"Yeah." Julianna said.

"Well I think you should ask them to write it in because Carol...and Doug don't really have a storyline right now and everyone knows they were trying for a baby." George says.

"Carol and Doug tried for a baby and George and Julianna got one. I can see the headline now." Julianna says. George chuckles.

"Do you want them to write your pregnancy in?" George asks.

"It would be easier. So..yeah." Julianna says.

"Okay, well, if you want I'll go help you talk to them today." George says.

"I was counting on it." Julianna says and they smile.

George and Julianna are sitting in two chairs beside each other with a table full of producers and writers and all the "behind the scenes" guys.

"So what's up?" One of them asks.

"Well..first off, I'm pregnant." Julianna said. Congratulations rang out. "Thank you. Well, we were just wondering if we could write it into the story and have Carol become pregnant." Julianna said.

"Doug and Carol don't really have a storyline right now so we wanted to talk about it and see what you think. If it's okay with all of you." George says. Quiet discussion filled the room.

"Well, I think it should be perfectly fine. This is actually the perfect time for you to be pregnant Julianna, before we start filming and writing all the next episodes. Okay, well we need to discuss it, but I can assure you that it's almost positive we will do it. Okay?" John Wells said.

"Thank you." George and Julianna say at the same time. They get up and walk out. George kisses her and she smiles. He takes her hand into his and they walk towards Chairs where everyone is hanging out. Laura, Tony, Alex, Noah, Eriq, and more of the supporting cast are all sitting around waiting to get started. Tony looks up as Julianna and George come to Chairs.

"Hey you two." Tony says.

"Hi everyone." George says. Julianna smiles. "I suppose everyone is wondering what that meeting was all about and was trying to think of what it was while we were in there." George says. Everyone kinda mumbles and he chuckles. "Well we were

just giving them an idea for Doug and Carol. Only this idea isn't something just out of our heads, it has to do with our real lives." George says.

"George, I think you've put them in enough suspense." Julianna says with a smile. He chuckles.

"You tell them then Miss Smarty Pants." George teases.

"Everyone..I'm pregnant!" Julianna says. Cheers ring out.

"So that means, so is Carol?" Laura said.

"Yep." George says and wraps his arm around Jules's waist. She smiles and leans into him happily. Everyone comes up to hug them. The two separate as the men quietly congratulate George and the woman flock around Julianna.

"Be prepared for her to be in a really bad mood. She'll be playing a pregnant woman and be pregnant. At the same time. You'll need to help her as much as possible and stay out of her way when your not helping her." Tony says. George chuckles.

"Thanks. I'll be coming to you for lots of advice. You've already done the kids thing." George says.

"What are you over there whispering about?" Julianna asks, coming over from the group of woman who were chatting excitedly about the baby.

"Sports." Tony says and the two men laugh.

"Ya right...What bad things are you telling him Tony?" Julianna asks, leaning her head onto George's shoulder.

"She's got a radar for things like that Tony." George says.

"Busted." Tony says and laughs. He walks away and George wraps his arms tightly around Julianna's waist.

"Mmm...how's my girl? Everything okay?" George asks.

"Yeah, we're fine." Julianna says and smiles. He chuckles and kisses the top of her head gently.

George has a hold of Julianna's hand as they walk into a doctor's office. Carol is about four months along and you can barely see the shape of a small belly through her shirt. They walk up to the desk to check in and go to sit but are immediately called in before they can sit. They walk in hand in hand.

"Just wait here and the doctor will be in shortly!" The nurse says cheerily, staring at George. She walks out and we can

hear giggles coming through the door from more than one woman. George rolls his eyes.

"It looks like I've got competition." Julianna says and smiles.

"No, no one could ever compete with you." George says wrapping his arm around her waist and kissing her. She reluctantly pulls away.

"I need to change real quick." Julianna says and starts to undress. She slips into her gown and climbs up onto the examining table. "It's freezing!" Julianna says as goosebumps rise onto her arms. He chuckles and rubs his hands up along her arm, trying to warm her up. She smiles at him and soon a doctor comes through the door.

"Hello Mr. Clooney, Ms. Margulies. I'm Dr. Burns." The female doctor says.

"Hi." George says.

"I'm sorry about my nurses, they aren't used to all the celebrities yet, if they ever will be." Dr. Burns said shaking her head. George chuckles and Julianna smiles.

"It's okay." Julianna says.

"So are we ready to get started?" Dr. Burns asks, asking some more questions. She spreads the gel onto Julianna's belly

which we can see more clearly now because she doesn't have her shirt on. She sets the paddle onto Julianna's stomach and a

whooshing sound fills the screen.

"Wow." George whispers and squeezes Julianna's hand.

"It's a lot different when its your own child." The doctor said and smiled. Julianna smiled at George. "Okay, well here's your baby's head and you can barely see but it's sucking its thumb. There's it's spine and legs. I can see the gender, would you like to know?" The doctor asks. Julianna looks and George and nods. He nods back.

"Yes please." She says and smiles.

"Your having a little girl." The doctor said. George smiles and squeezed Julianna's hand as she smiles back at him.

"I'm going to make you a video and take a picture so you can show all your friends okay?" Dr. Burns said. Julianna nods and the doctor does some more things. "Okay, well here's your tape and the picture. Just make an appointment at the desk for..lets say about 2 months. For your next check up." Dr. Burns says.

"Thank you." Julianna says and the doctor gets ready to leave.

"Hold on." George says. Dr. Burns turns around and faces them.

"Um..is there any sort of patient confidentiality?" George asks.

"You mean am I allowed to go tell everyone anything about your baby?" Dr. Burns asks. George nods. "Legally I'm not allowed so I won't. If it wasn't illegal I still wouldn't tell. I know how important it is for people, especially celebrities to keep things like this private. So no, I won't go out and tell the nurses or anyone else for that matter." Dr. Burns says. George grins at her and she smiles and walks through the door. Julianna gives him a strange look.

"What was that all about?" Julianna asks, pulling her jeans on.

"Well, I figured those nurses will be out there bugging the shit out of her and if they would find out what the gender is or anything else, they would go tell their families, and so on and I just don't really want that." George says. Julianna shakes her head with a smile on her face and keeps dressing.

George is sitting at the kitchen table, writing on something. His head snaps up quickly as a book is dropped onto the kitchen floor. He looks up to see Julianna, bending over as she holds her back to pick up a book.

"I'll get it Jules." George says.

"I've got it. Thanks though." Julianna says, straightening her back. She puts the book onto the table then pulls out a chair and sits down in it breathing deeply.

"Baby names huh?" George asks.

"Yeah. I figure since this little girl will be here in about 3 months and I'm tired of calling her little girl or baby we can at least try to name her. Plus I figure it'll take us that long to argue and decide." Julianna says. George chuckles and pulls the book over. He flips it open to a random page, closes his eyes and puts his finger down. Then he opens it.

"Adel." George says.

"Hell no! We are not naming our daughter Adel." Julianna says. George laughs.

"Well, do you have any names in mind?" George asks.

"You'll laugh. You'll hate whatever I pick and I'll hate whatever you pick." Julianna answers.

"Come on, tell me your ideas. You never know you might just pick out one I like." George says.

"Okay..well I like Abby or Olivia." Julianna says.

"I like them, but it's not really what I had in mind." George said.

"Well what do you have in mind?" Julianna asks.

"I don't know really. I guess I wanted something like Taylor or Anastasia." George says.

"Taylor I could live with but Anastasia?" Julianna asks wrinkling her nose.

"Okay, okay, so we'll keep thinking." George says and sighs.

On the way to work the next day they are still discussing names.

"How about Jasmine?" George asks.

"No, cuz then we'll have to find her a boyfriend named Aladdin." Julianna said.

"Or a brother." George says and chuckles. Julianna makes a face and they continue on there way home.

The next day.

"Mikayla." Julianna says.

"Kristine." George says. They shake their heads and laugh.

"So what are you two naming the baby?" Alex asks later that day.

"Don't ask!" Julianna says raising her hands.

"How about you all tell us what you like!" George says.

"Yeah good idea. We need help. Everyone write down two names and give them to us. Oh and leave your name on it too

so we know who its from." Julianna says. Everyone groans but eventually gives them their ideas. On the way home Julianna reads them.

"Oh look what Tony wrote." Julianna says laughing and shakes her head.

"Read it to me, I don't want to wreck." George says.

"His idea was Antonia. Well one of them was. He put a smilely face beside it." Julianna says still giggling. George laughs.

"Figures he would do that. What was his other idea?" George asks.

"Eve." Julianna says.

"I do like that." George says.

"Me too." Julianna says.

"But I don't know if I would want to name my daughter that. At least not her first name." George says.

"I agree. We also have Samantha, Michelle, Desiree, oh and Laura of course wrote Kerry!" Julianna said giggling. George chuckles.

"So...what else?" George asks.

"Well Alex put in big capitol letters that we cannot name it Cassidy because that is what she is naming her first daughter." Julianna says and giggles. George chuckles and pulls into the garage.

"Her ideas were?" George asks.

"Amanda and Madison." Julianna says. She turns her head towards George and he looks at her.

"I love it!" George says.

"Me too!" Julianna says. They smile at each other.

"Madison..Madison...I cannot think of anything good that goes with it except Rose and I dont want to name my daughter after a flower!" George says.

"Hmm...I don't know but we can think of something. Do you really like the name Madison?" Julianna asks.

"Maddie. Yes. It's cute." George says.

"Yep, it's adorable." Julianna says and they smile. He kisses her lips and lays his hand on her stomach. She smiles and wraps her arms around his neck, hugging him.

The next day.

"So did you two decide on a name?" Tony asks.

"Yes." George says.

"What is it?" Alex asks.

"Well, we decided not to tell, so no one can change our minds, but you'll probably here us say it before she's here." George says.

"We will tell you that we picked two of the names you all wrote down and put them together for a first and middle name." Julianna says. She smiles at George and he chuckles.

"Fair enough." Tony says.

Julianna is tugging a vacuum down the hallway and trying not to bump into her huge stomach. She bends down to plug in the vacuum but is interrupted by George.

"Julianna what are you doing?" George asks.

"I'm going to vacuum." Julianna says.

"No, you shouldn't do that. Let me do it, if you want it done!" George says.

"I said I'm going to vacuum!" Julianna says raising her voice slightly.

"Your eight months pregnant you shouldn't be doing that!" George says.

"I can and I will!" Julianna says and plugs the vacuum into the wall. She flips it on and starts running it. George looks at her with a concerned look on his face but turns and walks away with his head hung low. She looks up at him walking away and she sighs. She starts to cry and she flips off the vacuum and waddles after him. She grabs his shoulder and he turns around to see her

tear-stained face.

"Hey...what's wrong baby?" George asks.

"I'm sor...sorry. I didn't mean..to yell...at you." Julianna says and hiccups as she cries.

"Hey hey. It's okay sweetie. Come 'ere." George says and pulls her as close to him as he can.

"I'm sorry I've been such a bitch." Julianna says.

"Hey, don't ever call yourself that. Your not a bitch you just have a lot of hormones and emotions running through you right now. I understand. I would be upset too if I was in your position." George says. She half sighs, half hiccups.

"What would I do without you?" Julianna asks.

"Well for one thing you wouldn't be in this position." George says and she giggles. He hugs her close and kisses the top of her head sweetly.

"I just hate feeling so useless and I want to do things. I don't want to sit on the couch and watch TV all day." Julianna says.

"I know you don't. I'll try harder to not yell at you about those things." George says.

"You just want to protect Maddie. I understand." Julianna says. He smiles and kisses her lightly.

"So do you want to do it or do you want me to do it?" George asks.

"I'll do it, but I promise I'll stop if it becomes to much." Julianna says. He smiles.

"Okay. I love you Jules." George says.

"I love you too." She replies.

George and Julianna are at work. Julianna is sitting talking to Alex. George's is off filming.

"So..aren't you due any day now?" Alex asked.

"Yes. I am due in two days." Julianna says smiling.

"I cannot wait to see your baby. She'll be beautiful. I am really surprised that you and Doug haven't said her name yet and it's been 3 months." Alex says.

"I know. It's hard since we've gotten so used to calling her by her first name already." Julianna says. She places her hand

on her stomach and makes a little bit of a face.

"Braxton-Hicks?" Alex asks knowingly. Julianna nods.

"Yeah. Could you hand me a pillow please?" Julianna asks.

"Sure." Alex says and gets up and gets a pillow from a nearby abandoned gurney. She hands it to Julianna who places it behind her back.

"Thank you so much." Julianna says and pushes a strand of hair out of her face.

"So can't you just tell me what your naming the baby?" Alex says.

"No, it's a surprise." Julianna says and smiles.

"Your killing me here!" Alex says and giggles. Julianna makes another face.

"Settle down sweetheart." Julianna says patting her stomach. Alex smiles. They keep on talking for about 15 minutes and Julianna is uncomfortable, although she doesn't let on how much.

"I'm going to the restroom. I'll be right back!" Julianna says and hauls herself to her feet and waddles slowly to the restroom. Once inside she leans onto the sink and breaths deeply. "Maddie baby, slow down." Julianna says quietly. She slowly walks to the stall and goes in. She pulls down her pants and sits down, quickly relieving herself. As she stands up and pulls her pants up she stops. She looks down and her eyes open wide in surprise. She waddles as fast as she can back to Alex.

"Alex!" Julianna calls out. Alex looks at her. "Get me to George!" Julianna says. She grabs a wheelchair and falls into it. She clutches her stomach. Alex just stands there with her mouth wide open. "Alex! My water just broke, hurry up and get me to George!" Julianna says and breathes deeply. Alex finally jumps into action. She grabs the wheelchair and wheels its as fast as she can to the trauma room where George is supposed to be filming a trauma. She bursts through the doors and almost runs into

the camera man.

"George!" Alex calls out. He looks over quickly and sees Julianna. He freezes.

"George, I'm...in..labor." Julianna breaths out deeply, as she clutches onto the side of her wheelchair. One of the real life nurses jumps into action.

"Julianna, let us check you out first and we can see if we need to get you to the real hospital." The nurse says. Julianna

nods and George rushes to her side.

"She's coming now?" George asks, slightly panicky.

"YES!" Alex and Julianna both yell at the same time. He looks around nervously as the nurse takes her chair and calls out to some of the other real nurses that work on the set. They help her up onto a bed and the nurse looks under the covers.

"She's already 5 centimeters!" The nurse calls out.

"FIVE?" Julianna asks her eyes wide with surprise.

"Get Dr. Reed in here," another nurse calls out, referring to the set doctor. One of the actress nurses runs out to find him. He comes in a few minutes later.

"I don't think we have enough time to get her to a real hospital and I know that we have all the equipment here. I'm an

OB nurse and you've delivered babies before and so have some of these other real life nurses. So I think we should do it here, or

risk her having the baby in the car!" The first nurse calls out.

"Okay! I think we can manage it! Get everyone else out of the room!" Dr. Reed calls out. George grabs onto Julianna's

hand as everyone ushers the actors out of the room.

"God George it hurts. It hurts! Ughh." Julianna cries out.

"It's okay baby. It's okay. You'll do fine." George says.

"I don't want to have the baby here!" Julianna says.

"We don't have much of a choice! The baby's coming!" Dr. Reed calls out, looking under the covers.

"Not at work!" Julianna says.

"You have to Julianna. It's okay. We can't do anything about it now!" George says.

"Oh god. Omigod. It hurts. George don't touch me." Julianna says but continues gripping tightly onto his hand. He moans slightly.

"Jules, let go." George says.

"Nooo..." Julianna moans.

*An hour later*

"Okay, everyone get ready! We're doing this now!" Dr. Reed calls out. Julianna is sitting up in the bed and gripping onto

the railings.

"I can't. I quit." Julianna says. The nurse helps her to sit up.

"You can Jules. You will." George says and looks between her legs.

"I'm going to split in two!" Julianna cries out.

"On the count of 3 I want you to push and stop when I tell you." Dr. Reed calls out. "1..2..3..Push!" Julianna sits up and pushes with all her might. "Stop!"

"Ooohh." Julianna says, collapsing back onto the bed.

"That's my girl." George says pushing her hair out of the way.

"On the count of 3! 1..2..3..Push!" Dr. Reed calls out again.

"Ahhhhhhhhh..." Julianna moans out in pain as she leans forward to push.

"I see the head! I see the head!" George calls out excitedly.

"Stop!" The doctor calls out. Julianna groans and leans back into her bed. The nurse wipes the sweat off. "Here let me see your hand." Dr. Reed says. She looks at him confused.

"What?"

"Let me see your hand!" She gives him her hand and he pulls her up and puts her hand between her legs. She feels the

baby's little head.

"That's our baby Jules!" George says smiling. She smiles.

"Now push again on 3. 1..2..3.." Dr. Reed calls out. Julianna pushes with all her might. "And again! 1..2..3..Now lay

back!" Dr. Reed calls out. She sighs and falls back onto the bed. He pulls the baby out the littlest bit of the way.

"She's here Jules. She's here!" George says excitedly. The baby lets out an ear piercing scream.

"With a good set of lungs too!" Dr. Reed says and smiles. He shows Julianna the baby before taking her away for a

second. He wipes her off and Jules and George stare at her. He wraps the blanket around her and sets her on Julianna's chest.

"Say hello to your mommy Madison Eve." George says. Julianna nestles the baby to her chest and smiles. Doug leans over and kisses her quickly and gently strokes the baby's cheek.

"She's so beautiful." Julianna says.

"Just like her mommy." George says. They smile at each other then look back down at their new daughter.

"Uh, Dr. Reed can you come look at this?" The nurse called out. George turns his attention to the nurse who quickly whispers something to Dr. Reed. He looks underneath the covers then orders one of the nurses to take the baby and another one to

give Julianna some medicine.

"What's wrong?" George calls out frantically. Julianna starts to get sleepy. He quickly looks back at Julianna and takes her hand.

"Nothing to worry about just yet." Dr. Reed calls out working underneath the covers.

"What's wrong with her?" George asks again and glances towards Carol who is staring at him sleepily.

"She's bleeding out. We have to stop the bleeding or she'll die." Dr. Reed said softly.

"She'll die? You can't let her die." George says staring angrily at the doctor.

"We'll do all we can. Just relax and try and keep her awake." Dr. Reed says. George turns to Julianna who is still staring at him sleepily.

"Don't go to sleep Jules. Stay with me sweetheart." George says.

"I love you George." Julianna says.

"Shh..I love you too Julianna." He says and she begins to close her eyes. He grabs her chin and jerks her head to the side.

"Stay awake baby. Stay awake. You have to live and watch Maddie grow and be with me. Julianna don't leave me."

George says shaking her head a little bit more. Tears well up in his eyes as she blinks very sleepily.

"George..take care of her for me." Julianna says.

"No..Julianna don't do this to me. Fight Jules. I love you sweetheart." George says. She nods. "Fight this Julianna. You

have to raise our baby. You have so much to live for."

"We've got the bleeding stopped. Now we'll get her some blood but it's up to her." Dr. Reed says.

"Are you going to live for me Jules?" George asks her. She nods sleepily. "Fight it. Don't go to sleep." George says. She keeps staring at him. He looks at the nurse. "Where's Madison?" He asks. She motions off to the side towards the baby. He runs over and picks her up bringing her to Julianna. He places her into her arms. "See this? See her. Live for her." George says. Julianna strokes the babies cheek weakly.

"I think she's going to be okay." The doctor says. George looks up.

"You think?"

"Yes. She should be fine. I'll stay and watch her but I think you should let her get some rest. She needs the sleep. Go show

off your new baby." Dr. Reed says.

"I can't leave her." He says.

"Yes you can. Take your daughter and go. If anything happens, I'll make sure you know. Go." Dr. Reed says. George

reluctantly picks up his daughter. He kisses Julianna on the forehead.

"I love you Julianna. I'm going to go show everyone Madison and you get some rest and get all better okay?" George says.

"Okay. I love you George." Julianna whispers. He smiles and leaves the room. As he does he is bombarded by people rushing up to him.

"Everyone meet Madison Eve Clooney." George says. Alex gasps.

"You picked my name!" Alex says.

"And mine!" Tony says.

"Yup." George says and smiles sadly.

"What's wrong?" Tony asks, picking up on George's look.

"She...Julianna was bleeding out. She...she almost died on me Tony." George says his face filled with pain.

"Is she okay?" Laura asks.

"Yes she is now. Dr. Reed said she should be out of the woods." George says.

"She's in good hands George. Don't worry." Tony says.

"I hope your right Tony. I don't think I could live without her." George says.

"Relax. It'll all be fine." Tony says and smiles weakly. George looks down at his baby.

"I love you Maddie." He whispers.

George is staring down at Maddie. She is sleeping and he is rubbing her tummy lightly humming to her. He is rocking her in the rocking chair they put in Julianna's room. It's been a few hours since the birth and she still hasn't woken up yet. Maddie yawns

in her sleep and makes a soft little baby noise. George smiles.

"Hum." Julianna makes a small noise from the bed. He looks over and gets up quickly. She is beginning to open her eyes and wake up. He smiles. With one hand he brushes his hand across her cheek.

"Hey baby." George says.

"Mm..George I don't think I'm your baby anymore." Julianna says smiling. He chuckles.

"Do you want to hold her? I think I've had my fair share." George says. She nods and he lays the baby into her arms. She smiles.

"It's so amazing to be holding her when just a few hours ago I was lugging her around on my stomach and not being able to

touch her." Julianna says. The baby wakes up and begins to make a face. She lets out a scream. Julianna looks up at George with

a confused expression on her face. He chuckles.

"She's seen her momma, I think she's hungry." George says.

"I don't know what to do!" Julianna says.

"I'll go get a nurse okay?" George asks. She nods helplessly. He smiles and goes out of the room in search of one of the nurses that helped deliver. In less than a minute he brings one back. The baby is still crying and Julianna is trying to calm her down. The nurse smiles reassuringly at Julianna and begins. George sits beside Julianna on the opposite side of the bed as the nurse. The nurse shows her how to do it.

"Is that her swallowing?" George asks.

"Yes it is." The nurse says smiling. George smiles and Julianna settles back into her bed.

"My god she's hungry!" Julianna says and looks at George. He chuckles and lays his hand on her shoulder.

"Well, if you need anymore help, just ask me." The nurse says and leaves.

"Slow down there angel." George says.

"This is going to take me a while to get used to." Julianna says.

"You will. I love you Julianna." George says.

"I love you too George." Julianna says smiling.

"Julianna, when you almost died today it felt like my world was coming to an end. I didn't think I would be able to live without you. I am in love with you like I never thought was possible. So will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?" George asks. He reaches into his pocket and pulls out a small box, he opens it to find a small, delicate engagement ring. He looks up at her and her mouth is wide open. She has tears in her eyes and she smiles widely.

"Yes George. I will marry you!" Julianna says.

"Good. That's great!" George says laughing. He kisses her gently and she smiles, hardly able to kiss him back.

"This is romantic George." Julianna says motioning towards Maddie and the baby feeding. He chuckles.

"I know. I didn't get you a very big ring because I know once you were talking to me commenting on how all of Hollywood couples that get married get rings that are as big as houses and that you didn't want one. So I found the most beautiful one there but it was still small." George says babbling. She brings her hand up to his lip. "Shh...I love it George. I love you." Julianna says. She pulls his face closer to hers and she kisses him again.
